Solid Gold Butterflies

Solid Gold Butterflies

After selling almost all of my butterfly telescope fry (who actually aren’t fry anymore!) that I’ve been painstakingly raising for the past 6 months, I’m feeling a little bit of the “empty nester syndrome” setting in.  It’s the perfect time to take stock of the fish that I still have and show them some love!

Sophie, the mother of all the butterfly telescope babies that I just sold.  She’s huge and keeps growing every day!
Clyde, my show winner and potential father of some or all the butterfly telescope babies that I just sold.
Luca, who I’ve had for 3 years now!  I love his ghostly, shimmery white color with blood red eyes.
Asha, a butterfly telescope that I bred from a fish I used to have named Minai.  He’s about 1.5 years old now.
Here are my seven keepers from my batch of babies!  One of them (near the top) has bean-shaped eyes, so cute.

It’s great to see what fish you have and which of the fry you have decided to keep. To be honest it was hard to keep track of them all, because there were beautiful butterflies all over the place. 😛

I’m sure you’ll be swamped with new fry batches in no time. Lol. I really like Asha because he’s from Minai who was really a favorite of mine. 🙂
