Solid Gold’s Website is Moving!

Solid Gold’s Website is Moving!

There are lots of changes on the horizon for Solid Gold. One of those changes? A new website!

Solid Gold’s new website is finally ready to share with the world, and although I’ve logged untold hundreds of hours getting the new website to the point it’s at now, there is still much more work to do. So as you browse through, you’ll likely notice that some of the pages are still under construction. Please take a look at the new website and feel free to let me know of any suggestions or comments you may have. I welcome your feedback!

The new website is going to be a really great thing for Solid Gold for many reasons; one being that it has an online shop fully integrated into the site. This will allow me to sell my goldfish, calendars, other Solid Gold merch, artwork, and even products like fish food directly from my website instead of relying on a third-party site that takes most of the profit from the sales.

In the new website, you can also create your own customer account so you can log in and check out quickly when making a purchase of fish or other products on the site. You’ll also be able to view all of your orders and curate a wish list of products from the online store that you’re interested in. Fancy Schmancy!

As of Friday, November 11th, all of the content on this website (solidgoldfish.com) will disappear and you will be redirected to the new website; solidgoldaquatics.com.

Morning. Just wondering, I have two bubble eye gold fish. When I turn the light on why do they stay in the corner of my tank? I have a led light that came with the tank. As long as the light is on they seem to be stressed. I do water changes and test water conditions weekly. I have had them for 3 months. They swim around just fine and happy until the light turns on in the room and tank. Do you have any suggestions?

Good evening. I really like you and everything and i realy like your hair. But theres some things we need to get straight. In the US a 1 ltr jug of water is the same as the UK. Over here in fish magazines , sometimes theres 2 tanks side by side on 1 page .
    Uk 10 gallon or 50
Ltrs which is 24 x 12 x 12 inch , then 10 US gallon where the tank is abt 2 inch higher. But actualy ours is the exact correct gallon and ltr measureand urs is wrong , see what im saying. Ur 40 gallon breeder/fry tanks on ur patio are abt 17 gallon i would guess. And ur 75 gallon i would guess abt 30ish gallon.

Do you have 0.5cm grade gravel as substrate or the same grade glass beads or refuguim mud with guppy grass grown on it ?. If not your fish will feel uneasy all the time , but switching your light on will make it worse. Secondly you may need to change ur deco. Youl probs need a couple of smooth rocks with no sharp corners for them to hide behind. These 2 things will help if you aint got them already.

The conversion between us gallons and imperial gallons is easy enough but simple to confuse. 3.8L (3.785 if youre a stickler) to a US gallon. A 40 gallon breeder holds far more than 17 imperial gallons of water it would be closer to 33.
    Regards,
